Finishing Supervisor

Job Description

PT INDEX is looking for a Supervisor who possesses leadership qualities, discipline, the ability to manage people, and a strong desire to learn. We can provide training on finishing processes.

Requirements

• At least 3–5 years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment
• At least 1–2 years of experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader, Foreman, Crew Leader, or similar leadership position
• Experience leading and managing a production team
• Able to work with daily production targets, workforce planning, productivity, quality, and deadlines
• Possesses strong leadership and communication skills
• Able to provide clear instructions and follow up on work results
• Disciplined, firm, responsible, and consistent
• Possesses good problem-solving skills and is able to make decisions in the production area
• Able to identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
• Willing to learn about furniture finishing processes, materials, colors, coatings, and quality standards
• Able to collaborate with QC, PPIC, Maintenance, and other relevant departments
• Comfortable working in a factory environment and actively present on the production floor
• Possesses basic computer skills, particularly in Excel or production reporting
• Willing to work according to the production schedule and work overtime when necessary
• Experience in the furniture or wood industry is a plus, but not required
• Experience in finishing is a plus, but not required
