Job Description
Lead metal fabrication and the development of custom machinery and mechanical components for industrial use.
Responsibilities
- Lead the department and CNC programmers, machinists, welders, and technicians.
- Plan production methods, work, materials, costs, and machinery projects.
- Oversee design, fabrication, assembly, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and machine improvement.
- Enforce quality control and workplace safety.
Requirements
- At least 5 years in metal fabrication, machining, or mechanical engineering, including team leadership.
- Knowledge of CNC/conventional milling and turning, laser cutting, bending/press brake, welding, CAD/CAM, and engineering drawings.
- Understand tolerances, precision measurement, metals, jigs/fixtures, automation, mechanical systems, and troubleshooting.
- Able to make technical decisions and estimate costs; English preferred.
