Job Description
Develop safe, efficient furniture packaging systems that meet international export standards.
Responsibilities
- Create packaging drawings, material specifications, BOMs, and work instructions.
- Manage packaging development through production implementation.
- Analyze shipping damage and optimize package dimensions, container loading, and costs.
- Coordinate with Engineering, R&D, Production, QC, Purchasing, and Export.
Requirements
- At least 3 years in packaging engineering; export furniture preferred.
- Knowledge of corrugated cartons, foam, EPE, EPS, honeycomb, and protective materials.
- Understand drop, vibration, and stacking tests, ISTA standards, and AutoCAD/BricsCAD technical design.
- Able to create SOPs, analyze issues, and train operations teams.
- English communication is preferred.
