Raw Materials Repair / Furniture Service Operator

Job Description

PT INDEX is looking for a dedicated Raw Materials Repair Operator to help with the furniture production process. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out production tasks in line with the company’s quality standards.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and a high school or vocational school graduate
• At least 1 year of experience in the furniture industry
• Proficient in using carpentry tools such as sanders, drills, grinders, planes, hand saws and power saws, as well as wood-filling tools
• Able to read basic blueprints and identify defects in raw materials (such as cracks, pinholes, loose knots, or imprecise joints).
• Familiar with techniques for filling, patching, gluing, or smoothing wood surfaces to restore them to quality standards before proceeding to the next stage of production
• Willing to work shifts and overtime as needed
